My daughter is 7 and is young enough for picture books but they don’t challenge her on her reading level, but pages full of words seem daunting to her and she is not a fan. She loved this! Such an imaginative story that kept her interested.

My 8 yr. old daughter LOVES these books! Ellie is a character that she can definitely relate to.....especially her fear of spiders! If you're looking for a great introduction to mysteries with great characters...look no more. Scaredy Bat has it all! I have even recommended them to several of the teachers I work with for their classroom libraries!

This series is a favorite in our family! Not only does my 10 year old daughter love them, we all do! We read 2-3 chapters at night as a family. Sometimes we end up reading 4 or 5 chapters because we can’t wait until the next night to see what happens! This series is a definite must for 9-11 yr olds who like detective books!

I must day with every book the author draws the kids in and they just can't put it down. The characters especially Ellie and Fez are our favorites they are so unique. I love this series even as an adult I'll catch myself rereading them because their just that good.
