Welcome to Module 3: Create Your Story Roadmap. In this module we’re going to learn how to organize your ingredients on a story arc and then create a simple chapter outline and storyboard that make writing your story a breeze.

Welcome back! We’re now on Module 5: Level Up Your Story - Where we’ll transform your story from good to great by following our unique leveling up framework.

This is the fifth and final area of leveling up: where we’ll review the story fundamentals and check for things like spelling and grammar mistakes.

Module 6 Overview

We’re now on Module 6: Create Your Epic Book - Where we’ll turn your story into a real book.

L1 - Book Title

The first thing to do in order to transform your story into a book, is to come up with a title for your story.

L2 - Author Name

Next on the book creating list - you get to choose your author name to take credit for your story!

L3 - Book Cover

Now that you have your book title (or at least working title) and your author name, let’s work on creating your book cover!

L4 - Book Illustrations, Images, and Art

Now we’ll think about the interior images or illustrations. However, this is completely optional - your book does NOT need to have images.

L5 - Front Matter

The front matter just means the first few pages at the front of the book that come before the main text of the story. These include the title page, copyright page, dedication page, and contents page.

L6 - Back Matter

The back matter, are the pages at the back of the book after the main text of the story. The most important of these back matter pages is the About the Author Page.

L7 - Book Description

After a reader has decided they like a book cover, they will often look at the book description to learn more about the book.
